The acting was terrific and the cinematography was beautiful, but the script was awful and the characters didn't develop at all. Also they started a great and interesting story with the mother that is ultimately buried in Act III. They treated feminism like a detriment to her decision making rather than a part of her character, which was, I felt, intentionally uncomfortable. Overall I think they had a great concept and just needed a better screenplay. Would not watch again.
