Ajeeb Daastaans is literally Ajeeb. It's an interesting film of series of four short films Majnu, Khilauna, Geeli Pucchi and Ankahi. Fraud, Tragedy, Manipulative Revenge and Love sums up to these films respectively. The characters are interesting, story and narration is unique that every film can be made a featured film. MAJNU: Jaydeep Ahlawat was rock solid handsome throughout with his acting and looks. Fatima Sana Sheikh was different; this was her second best performance on screen after Dangal. Armaan Ralhan was good. KHILAUNA: Nushrat Bharucha, Abhishek Banerjee and Inayat Verma nailed it, their character was strong and given justice. GEELI PUCCHI: You can just imagine to watch a cast of Konkana Sen Sharma and Aditi Rao Hydari, they are so beautiful with their craft. ANKAHI: Manav Kaul was impressive along with Shefali Shah. Their story was out of the box in a cluster of shock yet ends up on a sad note. The White Tiger is a treat to watch. A very new and fresh concept just arrived on OTT. A dreamy ambitious driver who ended up being an empathetic entrepreneur narrates his rollercoaster journey. The film is dark, something which is reality but fictional and has many elements which deserves worth appreciation. The only thing which didn't make sense in the entirely was the objectification of wo/men done by few characters playing role of drivers (definitely, the openness this movie has featured is appreciated but that openness didn't lead to make any point in the film which is my only direction/scripting concern). The film is based on Aravind Adiga's book with the same name. Gourav playing the role of driver was outstanding throughout; it would really be unfair to rate his performance in numbers. Raj with his another Rudra avtar was magnificent. It is indeed a great pleasure to watch him doing different roles everytime cause he is the feel of every film he has done till date. On the other hand, priyanka never stops slaying, undoubtedly dynamic and mesmerizing. A story of a wounded woman who is fantasised by another woman's love life takes some non-calculative steps on a shocking day which changes her life for the worst, later realises the web of magic she's weaved around. Parineeti Chopra at her best, her performance reminded of Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and Ishqzaade; fierce and fiesty. Aditi Rao Hydari is purely raw every time she acts. Her performance as supporting actor has always shown importance differently. Kirti Kulhari dominates intelligent roles, always stunning. Avinash Tiwary15 great transformation, the shift in the character was smooth. The film is well directed and scripted and was way too predictable. The art of Satyajit Ray crafted in the beauty of its script, acting, direction and cinematography and casting. Fully OP and unique in ideation, Ray is beautifully conceptualized in 4 short stories inspired by Ray's classics. Ali Fazal starred Forget Me Not is memorably driven. He sizzles the character as a charming suited entrepreneur. Kay Kay Menon's Bahrupiya is yet another classic. Living a life in disguise this layman turns into a makeup artist and ends up in guilt. Meanwhile, Manoj Bajpayee in Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa stars as a celebrated Shayar, Harshvardhan Kapoor in Spotlight lives a life of a superstar. Harsh is an unrecognised talent in the industry who really needs to be explored by directors. Radhika Madan, Akansha Rajan Kapoor and Gajraj Rao were decently good throughout. Overall Top to bottom a unique creation • A line of great cast • Dynamic • May not be liked by a certain type of audience • A YES watch

A well conceptually created comedy series is of Beanie who aspires to become a stand-up comedian lives to the fullest of her desires. Swara sets the stage on Fire esp the two times, 1st when she's cheated on and 2nd when she anyway feels cheated on. She can really own up as a comedian #JK; but since Veere Di Wedding, she's simply broken stigma. Dolly Singh did exceptionally well with her character. Just like her influenza vibe, she rolls tribe. Ravi Patel was such a cute Indo-American character instead was the best charater 'Eat-Pray-Rav'. Girish Kulkarni Varun Thakur Mona Ambegaokar had strong presence with Mukti Mohan showing her grace ❤️ Overall Fresh • Entertaining • Blend of Good and Lame Humor • Well Directed and scripted • Well Narrated • A good watch

Rishu, Rani aur Rane ne dikhaye pyaar ke naye afsaane A crime based love story with a foreseeable plot revolves around a desirable woman who cheats her husband in a month old marriage. The furious cheated husband turns revengeful where one amongst the three commits a crime. Taapsee was fierce and desirable. Vikrant was of great character in living, his transformation is always amazing, always. Harshvardhan outshines his own character, smouldering hot. They story sees a good plot twist. AK vs AK is a great example of 2020 opening a surprise of COVID-19 which eventually becomes one of the most interesting years. I find it not so impressive, still very impressive. The rivalry between Anurag and Anil takes the direction and cinematography to another level. The story is well curated with a lot of extra acting I would say but its a great watch at the end. Anurag Kashyap keeps it clean with his acting except faking action scenes. Anil kapoor was fire, but somewhere showed conciousness in front the camera which justified with the climax. Yogita Bihani made a small presence but a valuable one. Harshvarrdhan kapoor was hot entirely even with that funky costume. Finding a suitable way to find a suitable boy for a suitable daughter, mother convinces daughter to marry an intelligent hardworking handsome shoemaker where the daughter is open to explore the love and respect. The other side of the story is of a boy who falls in love with an older woman suddenly becomes Maseeha of a village and later helps his politician father in election campaigns. The series shows a sober typical era and culture of East India. The series is from Vikram Seth's novel A Suitable Boy adapted by Andrew Davies originally scripted in English. Tanya Maniktala acts phenomenal with her charming smile and expressions. Ishaan Khatter & Tabu without a doubt caught the eyes throughout. Danesh Razvi, Namit Das, Mikhail Sen all proved to compete well as suitable boy as a character and actors. Randeep hooda, Ranvir Shorey Vijay varma were like a treat to watch. Shahana Goswami was one of the best character in the series. Overall Watching them speaking English was a bit weird at start • Something New • Good Direction & Screenplay • Acting & Crafting

The Queens Gambit An orphan who falls for chess has an extraordinary talent at the age of 8 later is adopted and turns her opportunity into luck becomes World Chess Champion. In between she sees a lot of achievements along with some bitter blow. The last match which is the most crucial match of her life against her toughest competitor opens up with The Queen's Gambit. The drama series is made from the novel of Walter Tevis with the same name. Anya Taylor Joy shows a lot of transition in her role is worth appreciated. Jacob Fortune Llyod reentry in the last episode was the most awaited in the series and Thomas sangster, Harry Melling, Marielle Heller act smooth in the entire series (except Harry's some annoying habits while playing). 4 different stories All leads; A messy story entangled with eachother from a viral sex tape to a suitcase chase. The message seemed to be left out from the start, direction seemed to be deviating as the characters become part of each others life by chance but head nowhere other than their personal life problems. The last message narrated by Anurag Basu was thought provoking. Characterisation is interesting, dialogues are fun, acting is good. Overall Good Acting & Characterisation • Dialogues • One time watch
