5 stars for costumes and overall design/esthetic. BUT I recommend you read up on the legend/tale before watching it and really take in the disservice to the original tale. It's trying to be clever in ways that seem excessive -just tell the tale-... BTW: For the reviewers out there saying "well this is what you can expect from A24, slow-burning, real and good drama, if you want action watch something else": I loved ex-Machina and midsommar (among others), both not very action-packed, but way more dynamic and interesting than this.
