After a lot of though, I can honestly say this film deserves a three star rating. I really wanted it to be better, but it just feels incomplete. There was a lot to talk about and it just wasn’t explained too well. The beginning of the film is never explained and the end just seemed abrupt. To top it off, the sound wasn’t mixed and balanced right and it made it incredibly difficult to understand what anyone was saying. Accents underneath masks with explosions going on doesn’t make for very coherent dialog. But the core concept and time play is fantastic. The acting is done well and there’s an interesting relationship aspect between the couple in the center of the story. It’s definitely a film you can lose yourself in and try to understand, but it just wasn’t quite there. Definitely not Nolan’s best work, but definitely worth seeing at least twice. Just not in IMAX and maybe with subtitles
