Seen stage show a few times over the years and this movie version did not disappoint. If anyone remembers the disaster of Cats on the big screen this is in a different league. The two leading ladies gave fantastic performances. The storyline was slightly expanded compared to the stage show but wasn't overdone. I'd happily watch the film again. Gets a big 👏 from me

I binge watched on ITV Player. What an awful experience. Yes, Delia is a bit of an oddball in some ways but also extraordinarily brave. She was initially badly let down by the justice system and her sense of anger and frustration is palpable in Anna's performance throughout. I don't generally watch ITV dramas but this one was very good. Some scenes made me really flinch and recoil in horror.

I guessed the ending but enjoyed it nonetheless. Leighton is a good actress and would like to see her in more films etc. Worth a watch IMHO. Really enjoyed the location (Croatia). Beautiful.

Well you wouldn't exactly call it gritty and it's a tad vomit inducing & cheesy at times but it's an easy watch and you do get a bit invested in the characters. Can't relate to the bible quoting references too much but on the whole, it's a pretty lighthearted soap drama with a feel good factor. No murders or serious crime. Just lots of small town charm & community spirit. If you like (The) Good Witch, Chesapeake Shores, Virgin River and Firefly Lane you'll probably enjoy this.

Throughly enjoyed it. More detailed characters / story than the 2011 film. There are 14 episodes of varying length, but none are overly long. Cast is more up to date and are all very good, especially the two main characters 👍 Final episode left a rather large lump in my throat 😢. What a love story ❤ Great soundtrack too.

Emotional and uplifting. So much better than I expected. Reminded me a little of Dear Evan Hansen (staging and songs) but I enjoyed this more. I remember Malinda Parris from playing the Nurse in & Juliet. She's fantastic once again in this production. Have to say I was close to tears a few times. I saw Moulin Rouge the day before and the two shows are like polar opposites with regard to staging and scenery. What TLBT lacks in this department, it makes up for with heart.

Such a bittersweet, gentle, understated, feel good film. Mostly makes me smile but a bit emotional in some scenes, more so when I watched it for the first time after losing my brother. Great cast, likeable characters and good soundtrack. I can re-watch this time and time again 😁
