Very very very disappointed. Series starts with Luther being kidnapped, tortured and being subjected Russian roulette by a criminal gang - and no legal action!? Perhaps even worse - at the end of the same opening episode - an informer is kidnapped and an explosive collar attached. The gang of course leave behind the key (as the ex-cheapo padlock is 'un-pickable') and the bomb is removed at the last moment just before it detonates, oh goodness why is this dramatic artifice used so often - and again no legal action!!?? Come on let's get real. This is Americanese COMPLETELY UNREALISTIC GARBAGE - I expect better from the BBC
