Okay I finally watched it… and honestly I’m glad I did. I was actually really excited when I first heard about the making of this movie. Zoey is one of my favorite actors and Dylan ain’t too shabby himself, I mean let’s be real. But then when this finally was released people started leaving so many negative reviews just absolutely roasting this film right out the gate, so I decided to hold off on watching it. It remained on my list though as I figured I would probably eventually come back around to it and still want to watch it anyways. If anything just cuz of the actors in it. I will say I am glad I lowered my expectations first though and I would recommend doing the same. If you are expecting a cute romcom/ redemption story then look elsewhere! It’s definitely not a feel good happy movie by any means which is why I only gave it 3 stars. And yes the protagonist is also the antagonist and you will (hate is a strong word) very much dislike her at the least. This movie is basically her villain origin story if you will. You’ll understand why she did the things she did while really wishing she still hadn’t. You’ll also just totally pity her, and in some ways you may even relate to her, but you’ll mostly just very much dislike her. In fact you will very much dislike 90% of the characters in this movie for different reasons (also yes you’ll very much dislike Dylan’s character too ugh) Actually the only characters you wont absolutely want to punch in the face will be Rowan and the guinea pig… and even so you’ll want to punch the guinea pig a little since he basically caused that whole mess in the first place. HOWEVER, this movie is absolutely worth watching and to some degree I think everyone should see it. The overall messages conveyed alone are so powerful and important especially in today’s society. To sum up, this movie is a good reminder that likes/followers and what strangers think of you really shouldn’t matter. You’re worth so much more than that! Secondly, you are NOT alone in your loneliness. Also, we really shouldn’t judge others just because they sin differently than we do… And most importantly, this movie really just solidifies the fact that sometimes the people that are the hardest to love really just may need it the most… so just go hug someone and don’t take anyone for granted (especially that one weird coworker) and you'll BE OKAY!

Eh…. I really wanted to like this movie but it’s a no from me. However I’ll give it 2 stars since It wasn’t the worst movie I’ve ever seen. Just the worst Marvel movie I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen them ALL. Personally I just didn’t like the plot that much. The movie was way too dragged out and the story could have probably concluded in half the amount of time instead. As it should have too cuz I got so bored that I started to doze off at one point… Despite the fact that it wasn’t even late and I wasn’t even tired. I just wasn’t very engaged or captivated by the storyline/hero’s at all unlike in other Marvel productions. Also the Characters and their plot are simply given too much power in the MCU, much like Captain Marvel as well, which I dislike because I feel then as if it completely undermines everything that the Avengers ever did! Which isn’t cool. And as far as the casting of the characters go; I know everyone has been praising the diversity in this film and while I agree that the MCU needs to be more inclusive going forward I personally think it was a little forced in this movie. It was as if Marvel was trying to make up for decades of bigotry all in two and a half hours. Honestly, it felt kinda like they were just trying to profit off of minorities which is not only pathetic but down right completely wrong. They definitely seemed to be aiming to obviously just fill some sort of quota cuz I mean…. White character (CHECK) Black character (CHECK) Hispanic character (CHECK) Indian character (CHECK) Asian character (CHECK) Gay character (CHECK) Disabled character (CHECK) So I guess goal accomplished on the producers part, not that the movie was made better for it though since I felt that the cast didn’t even have good chemistry with each other either despite all efforts. But by all means, if you value diversity over a good story (even tho there’s no reason you can’t have both) then watch this movie. Or if you’re not necessarily a seasoned Marvel fan, have nothing to compare it to, and are just looking to pass a little time then sure give it a go. But otherwise you’ll probably feel as if this movie was just simply a waste of time. Unless of course your trying to cure insomnia and you want to be put to sleep. But if you’re one of those MCU fans that has to see every single film regardless much like myself; look I get it. Just stay caffeinated while watching and don’t say I didn’t warn you. Now excuse me while I go pretend this movie never happened; much like the original Incredible Hulk. Sorry not Sorry. But there’s a reason that this was the first MARVEL movie to ever score “Rotten.”

Let’s just say it took me only a week to binge watch all 3 seasons… and I almost didn’t start it to begin with! Don’t listen to the haters. The story is captivating. The acting is solid. Sure there’s some cringy overdramatized parts occasionally but what show doesn’t have a few of those moments sometimes? That more has to do with the script than anything. There’s a difference between bad acting and poorly written lines/scenes. But like I said, I don’t think there’s too many of those. And the parts that were overdone I just found to be hilarious anyway. Seriously tho this show is so worth watching! I don’t usually write reviews but that’s just how much I enjoyed it! So if you’re looking for something different and intriguing to watch then look no further! I appreciate how the the story itself is so diverse as well. They don’t limit themselves to just trying to explain events based on scientific fact, but rather mythology and religion also! Which has been so refreshing to see! Although if you’re not very religious don’t worry cuz you’ll still enjoy the show as well! Trying to merge science and religion alone is not an easy feat to do but I think it’s handled very well. I know that was one of the show-runners main goals from the beginning too so consider it goal accomplished! PS.) I’ll never get over the fact that NBC canceled this show (especially on such cliffhangers!) but I’ll forever be grateful to them for creating it and especially so to Netflix for picking it back up! So here’s to at least 20 more episodes yay!
