Great movie,up until the end.Whole point was that Jaguar Paw,the main character,get back to the hole to rescue his mate and his child.When he does,we see him looking into the hole,they are in dire straits,up to their necks in rising water.Another child has been born while they were in the hole.All Jaguar paw has to rescue them is the rope he used to lower them into the hole.Suddenly,Jaguar Paw,his mate,and both children are on the ocean shore,looking at the Europeans and their ships.How did they get out of the hole?I guess we'll never know.A great movie with a very puzzling ending.

Some people obviously spent a lot of money to make this,but I can’t imagine why.Worst movie I’ve tried to watch in a very long time.Atrocious acting,ridiculous plot.

It's Tarantino.If you're a fan,you know you are going to see it.Admittedly,it's not an action flick,but there are some great performances here,DiCaprio in particular.Tarantino films always have great dialog,and this one is no exception.Great period piece,vastly entertaining,another great Tarantino sound track.If you get a kick out of Tarantino,you'll have a good time with this.I'm still waiting for the rumored Star Trek screenplay.Wouldn't that be a hoot?!
