So awful. I read the book Hatchet and loved it. Then I watched the movie and HATED it. First of all, The titles of the book and the movie don't even match! I know there is a Horror Film series also called Hatchet, but they can name two movies the same thing! It's like the director didn't even read the book! The film quality was terrible, like they were recording it on a camcorder. Brian in the book was determined and and tried his best to survive in the wild, but book Brian was a wimp! Also, the scene where Brian finds out that his mom was cheating on his dad was right where Brian's father could find them! And, the language in the movie is terrible not PG at all! All in all, do not watch this movie your eyeballs will thank you.
