Disjointed, incoherent, distant, surprisingly uncreative and un-French (Lady Gaga... purquoi?!), lacking humour, atmosphere and connecting narratives... C'est terriblé! All the things the London 2012 opening ceremony (the best ceremony ever) was not 😜🇫🇷 The river horse and baloon thing were the best bits... and thanks Canada for subbing on Celine Dion 10 minutes from the end of a sorry Paris match.

Pretty decent Bond film up to the last 10 minutes... And then Dr No No No... You just dont do that to James Bond. No... the ending was heretical, sacreligious even. Just no... Thats all wrong. Bond is a metaphysical constant. Don't disrupt the balance and order of the cinematic universe. You are just asking for trouble. A very deeply unsatisfactory and completely wrong ending... it poisoned the whole film, ironic given its plot line. Was the Queen a pole or lap dancer? No... The way the film ended was just all wrong, and left me feeling numb, slapped in the face by Odd Job, bitten by Jaws, shot by Scaramanga, punched in the guts by Colonel Klebb. Bond is immortal, thats the whole point of him. Go back and redo the ending, you heretics!!! Oh and also all the existing regular actors will have to go too now because of the ending. Shame

Series 3 has some good laughs here and there but compared to the first two series this third one is painfully slow and lacking in a substantive interesting plot. As Elvis eloquently put it, "A little less conversation, a little more action, baby". Found myself often skipping successive 10 seconds ahead on the Netflix app. Series 3 lacked grip for me, and originality.

Christopher Nolan is my fav currently working director and have all his films on DVD. This was the least enjoyable and fulfilling flick so far in my view. Only 75% or so of the dialogue was audible, the music was disorienting and overblown at times, and the script and editing had more holes in it than my first attempt at knitting. To continue the haberdashery thread, there were patches of Tenet I enjoyed. The action scenes were high drama, the story concept was very clever, and no one has made scarfs look quite so cool as Robert Pattinson. However, this was Nolan's very own Finnegans Wake... on the whole largely impenetrable... or imtenetrable as James Joyce might have inventively put it himself in that novel.
