The legal intricacies are portrayed as much as it could have for the ordinary audience to understand the technicalities relating to consent, yet not delving much into the complexities surrounding it. The show is dramatic, bit thrilling, acting is good and the final twist is shocking.

While most people misunderstand the movie, underneath all the comic relief that lies in the film, are deep satires about our society. Superstitions, detective benchmarks, notion about kings, kingship and dacoits all touched with modern elements. Not great, but brave attempt!!

There is more to it than meets the eye. The purposes of the film were several and to capture all of them in 2 hours' time on screen ishot a Herculean task. Too many relationships and bondings clutter the film as a result meeting all the loose ends become difficult at the end. But as the name suggests a farewell, this film has perfectly portrayed the passed by days and moments with the presence of Ajit and Satya quite refreshing. Some complain about the clichés used, like a gay villain, but given the context of the film and Bengali cinema, it was portrayed fine if not great. The acting is theatrical. So expect a drama more than a detective, crime bust. Great attempt!!!
