Today's story on homeless college students is ridiculous. I went to college in the 80's on student aid and student loans as a single person. I lived in the dorms and never went hungry. In 2010, my family of 4 had basically no income. I returned to school to get my Master's degree just to get the student aid and loans so my family could afford a place to live and food to eat. The amount of student aid available is based on the cost of going to the school you choose including living expenses like housing and food. As long as you keep your grades up, you can get it if you need it.
