A well done movie, but unnecessarily long. The middle third of it is a series of conversations which go basically like this: FRANK: "You really should give up the idea of heading the union again." HOFFA: "But it's my union!" It goes on like that a bunch of times. At one point I had to leave for a potty break (I saw it at a theatre), and when I came back I didn't get the impression that I'd missed anything. Eventually (warning: spoiler ahead) Frank is old and alone, and he dies. The moral: Crime doesn't pay. How original.
