Shocking how this didn’t get the number of reviews it deserves. This is one of the shows you enjoy so much that it leaves emptiness in your day when its over. Amazing performance. Note: you have to be familiar with the history of this period for you to enjoy this. It’s not just a highlight of what’s been already highlighted in many works like the story of King Henry VIII and his wives, this is a bit deeper. Hoping for more work like this wonderful production!

Truly couldn’t say it better than this: “ Historic background doesn’t compensate for an obvious very small budget soap opera-is production. Looks like the entire series was produced in 5-6 locations. Same forest, same houses, same beach, same decor. Slow, amateurish, often utterly unrealistic dialogues and scenes. Boring, very boring. At times almost a farce, like a cheap bad comedy, implausible and unbelievable if you figure that the underlying story is true . Sad. The underlying story may be worth narrating, yet perhaps a theater setting would have been more appropriate. For a theater performance well more suited. This is not cinema. Period.” Thank you

It does need take half of the 1st episode to see how badly this was done! The Capitol was just blown up whipping the whole government, and an hour later the “designated survivor “ who was just told he’s the President, is making casual conversations left and right, his wife joking about the new suit he’s wearing! I mean seriously! Is this how a person, ANY PERSON would react after seeing such a horrific, traumatic, and shocking scene of an explosion?! Let alone a president! The first half of the 1st episode was more than enough of a turn off! Disappointed because I expected a lot of potential for the show!!
