Larousse Charlot

I last wrote a review on the show at the end of the fourth season. I was not happy with it. The fifth season was nearly impeccable. The return of Alice (very strong character) was a marvel for me. I am content. However, if Alice were to commit more crimes which she somehow gets away with, as she did her first crime, the show would be more savory. The brought down of Luther could have been more trenchant. I nonetheless find that the show ended on a good note. Wonderful performance from Idris Elba, Ruth Wilson and the entire cast. Much thanks to the director for having it right.
