Worth repeated viewings as, despite some lesser reviews, this film packs a cumulative emotional punch. Especially if you have lost someone. Probably Sheen’s greatest, most unexpected, role - it’s his humility, humanity, that’s captivating, and the role is a gift from his son Estevez, whose light but heartfelt touch is highly attuned. Very recommended.
