I'm not exactly sure why the same movie was made into a series. They could have carried on beyond the movie's conclusion. Creators ought to be astute. One episode might have shown glimpses of the past, and three seasons would have focused on the avatar's mastery of each element. Even if the show is more intricately structured, it loses viewers' interest. @netflix
