So it turns out the creators of Servant decided to wrap things up after four seasons and it really shows. Despite the strong cast and beautifully crafted atmosphere, the final season felt rushed and full of plot holes. Events started happening with little logic or buildup, almost like they were just trying to tick boxes and get to the end.
For me, the ending was especially disappointing. One of the most important moments like the โfall of Jerichoโ sequence was reduced to a scream and a vague, underwhelming confrontation. It lacked emotional weight and payoff. What should have been a climax felt more like a messy sprint to the finish line.
The actors were outstanding throughout, and the showโs mood and tension were consistently top-notch. But the writing? More holes than a slice of European cheese. A frustrating end to a series that once promised so much.
