Quirky, sweet, and funny! Especially the first few episodes! The story did seem to be written/made-up as they went along, but that didn't make it less worth the watch. I do think it's odd that so many people have commented about the religious theme of the show. Some reviewers state that they are tired and bored of this idea, or even offended by the "message" and subtle promotion of religion. So, why did you watch the show? There are so many shows- watch and rate something you have a hope of liking. You shouldn't give a show 1 or 2 stars because it's not your thing. *PLUS, it's obvious they were not trying to push religion AT ALL. It's just an institution that is fun to write humor for as it's controversial and... confusing.

I do love the flashbacks and the actors.

The writing is some of the best, the storylines and personalities feel accurate while entertaining, and the characters (thank you amazing cast) are why I can’t watch less than 3 episodes in a row. (Or an entire season in one week end)

I did find it humorous and just different enough to keep me watching. I was not expecting Jennifer Lawrence to play the role the way she did, and Feldman was endearing. It was cool to see Broderick as well. However, it has to be said, this movie has a lot of difficult moments to watch. I had to stop and take a break a few times. The impending crash of this boys illusion (and Lawrence's character too) is filled with awkwardness and you as the viewer, you dread his sweet broken heart.

Excellent movie- you think you see what is coming but there are a few plots twists along the way. The acting is way better than the typical creepy thriller. Storyline is pretty decent too.
