This an excellent series with entertaining plots and good acting. All the essential elements are here. The core cast is united, have interesting personalities, and believable interaction. I like how science is used to understand and solve conflicts. I predict there will be many successful seasons.

It so good to forget this messed up world and laugh with Jimmy. I especially love the monologs and singing impression Jimmy and his guests perform. Jimmy, keep bringing the light of laughter in this dark world!!!

I love Elsbeth's character in this Columbo-style, very entertaining, crime show. Elsbeth is adorable and deadly smart at the same time. The growing relationship between the two starring roles, Elsbeth and the police officer, is believable and a good to see. This show has great potential!

This is the version that even Charles Dickens would approve. Wonderful acting and staging. The metamorphosis of Ebenezer was believable and heart warming. This version portrays what Christmas is all about.

This is an entertaining series on Amazon Prime. Excellent acting and writing, with historical accuracy and intriguing plots. The characters are believable and likeable. Real traumas are addressed without vulgar detail. The viewer is neither patronized nor subjected to gruesome scenes. I'm really glad there's 16 seasons for us to enjoy.

I really like the main characters and their close relationships but this series is simply too violent. Also, the fight scenes are unbelievable in that one woman is not going to win against equally well trained men. If I want to be subjected to this much negativity, I would watch the news. But brutality is always easier to portray than psychological suspense.

So the writers decided to make all these hugely ridiculous conflicts come out of nowhere just to screw everyone up. Since when was "entertainment" so hopelessly depressing? I feel bad for all the actors in this series for being subjected to such a negative series. I won't watch anymore of this series. I can watch the news if I want to get depressed.

NOW I am beginning to like East New York because the core cast has bonded with mutual compassion and integrity. They have their own flaws and virtues but they work together for the greater good. This is winning framework.

This show breaks basic rules of reality such as the hair sample used to identify Keith. The hair did not have the follicles which is where the DNA is. Also, the core cast is not fully united. There is too much tension and arguing with each other. A little difference of opinion is realistic but this on going conflict within is annoying. There is a good reason Law and Order and NCIS are so successful. This show does not have those qualities of realism and character partnership. The egg rolling thing is just plain silly. Really! This series is well written and cast. We really enjoy the lead character, John Nolan, and the "family" he has bonded with. The central characters look out for each other in realistic situations. However, I gave the series 4 stars because the long term evil characters are becoming tiresome. We skipped a few episodes before that serial killer was eliminated. Now the Elijah Stone character is winning over and over. This situation is not entertaining. If I want to see bad guys constantly succeeding, I can watch the news networks.
