I almost never judge a film by the critics anymore and instead by the viewers. This film has some small moments of flat acting from the main female actress but it seems to stem from her lines and not her skill set. Otherwise, it kept me engaged throughout the entire film and not just because of Butler’s good looks either. It showcases a love of history regardless of facts , a love for family and friendship. Romance , heroism, action. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Love Bruce and love supporting up and coming actors but this was absolutely painful. So flat, both in the writing and the acting. I was hoping that the actors would at least be able to beef up the poor writing but NOPE! This was so bad that I feel sorry for everyone involved. Bad writing, flat acting, weird audio, boring scenery, odd mix of a cast and the futuristic aspect doesn’t even fit.
