I have read the books and was SO EXCITED to see the show. But it was so bad, I just couldn't do it. Between making Joe look like a bumbling idiot (all he needed to do was say "dough" and it would have been like watching Homar Simpson in the woods) and using CGI elk- not just any time-but right from the start in season 1, episode 1, it was off to a poor start. But the bad acting and terrible dialog continued and made it completely unwatchable. PS... I'm NOT some internet complainer. I have NEVER left a comment so negative, but that's how upset/ disappointed I was in the show. Too bad! I was really excited.
