Loved the books, the film is ok but definitely not worth paying to see it on the big screen and wish I’d waited until it aired on Netflix. Ron’s character played by Pierce Brosnan disappointed. In the book Ron is an hard nut, ex boxer, east ended and Pierce just didn’t convey this character strongly enough. I could t get past it so it really let the film down IMO.
