I found this version of Luther irritating and corny, not to mention idiotic. Corny English slang is not so 'lovely jubbly". It seems like its trying to appeal to American audience in some way with a bit of Bondish/Mission Impossible feeble attempts serve action sequences. That time at Piccadilly circus with people falling off the roof in the name of blackmail was weak. Also the cars crashing was a joke, they must had the trainees in that day. Absolute rubbish even though I liked the original TV series which could be taken more seriously.
