The best movie I've seen that i wish I saw sooner. Im late but this is real cinema. If I would've known about it, I would've paid to see it in theaters

Its a fresh take on sci-fi thats not so obvious as to whats even happening. Its nice having a show thats not the typical just aliens wanting to kill all humans mess again. Theirs something more thats going on. I hope it gets a season 4 like the showrunners want for a proper conclusion to the story

I sadly didn't give this movie a chance when It came out because I fell for the bad reviews. I just saw it now and it was so much better than the credit it got.

Loved this movie. Ezra in real life is beyond controversial but im watching it for the Character flash, not the real life Ezra. People have a million complaints and most of them about this movie are honestly petty or downright bad arguments. Im not saying the movies perfect because its not but it is largely enjoyable. Go in with a blank slate and formulate your own opinion. Watch the movie for the story and the characters and leave the real life controversy out of it. Otherwise stop listening to music and watching movies...and sports too for that matter. Some of these entertainers are openly problematic in their personal lives. The rest are closet problematic. It starts off looking like a cheesy comedy but turns out to have non stop deeper undertones behind the comical moments and even has some honestly touching moments. It's actually a fun watch

A positive message of connection between generations working together rather than against each other. Also emphasizes family unity. You see older nurses, teachers, and so on too often sabotage the next generation coming in out of fear of being replaced and its sad and frustrating. Kat and Jay's dynamic highlights this in the world of comedy. It also shows a strong example of what a REAL friend is like. When your about to risk something important and make what could be the biggest mistake of your life, a TRUE friend will do whatever they need to to be help you stay on the right path. The saying who needs enemies when you have friends like that? The friend in this movie isn't one of those, he really is a shining example of what a real friend is. Great and positive movie in these depressing 2020s

Anyone calling this a bad movie in any sense of the word is full of it. Not kidding

ANYBODY that trashes this movie either didn't watch it and is toxic or is being paid to down it. This movie was largely great. The build up was just right for emphasizing the life of the village and what they were preparing to protect, the villain was outstanding, depth was added to each character, the action was Supreme, and the losses were just right and not underwhelming nor over the top.

People don't appreciate quality cinema anymore. It's all about superheros, teen sex, or over the top blood and gory action... This movie is complex in the best ways and takes its time unfolding a beautiful story thats both sad and happy. Just give it an honest chance.

The Netflix live action has given me reason to give this movie a second chance and honestly it's not NEARLY as bad as I remembered it being. It's not actually a 5 star movie but it does things better in many places than the live action version on Netflix. Both this movie and the show are flawed adaptations that have their own takes on how to portray the cartoon and both are SERIOUSLY paced badly in that they try covering too much too fast. However I will say the movie despite that crazy pacing still did a better job staying true to the cartoon. I loved the cartoon and originally hated this movie but I have a new found appreciation for it despite its obvious flaws largely thanks to Netlfix. Zhao for example is done far better in the movie than the show.
