Deep, powerful, and makes you think about mortality and relationships. Made me cry. Meditates on the fate of people, and the knowledge that you will lose everyone you love at some point. Kazuo Ishiguro is a brilliant writer, I came into it having read Klara and the Sun, and loved that and I was not disappointed.
