What an amazing, honest, coming to terms with how God works (and also doesn't), and how that challenges our relationship with God. It was such an unexpected story and revelation! It took me all of Part I to get to know her style and personality. But from then on I was continually caught up in how perfectly she was able to relate this story, which is as much about ecumenism, and the mystery of the Holy Spirit's movement, and the great gathering of witnesses as it is about her own personal transforming experience. Sarah is a truly gifted writer. And I loved that she tells everything like it is, without some kind of evangelical polish on it, which is so refreshing! Anyone who is wondering where God is in their difficult life should stop for a while and read this excellent book!
