Love this funny charming glimpse back into the late 60’s Palm Beach’s elite. Palm Royale is somewhat of a guilty pleasure , however I only feel unadulterated satisfaction when watching. Plus, the all star cast including Carol Burnett, Christian Wigg and Ricky Martin provides viewers with stellar performances. What was shocking however was how wonderful Ricky Martin’s performance as Roberts was. To me, Martin and Wiggs chemistry together was the highlight of the show. Palm Royale has something for everyone. Plus, I disagree with a lot of the “professional critics” opinions that the show was too long, and offers the same old rags to riches story. Hope they bring back this little gem for season 2!
