Overall the movie was great but I do have a few questions that weren’t really answered. 1. We are told that the broken fragments are their time loop breaking and leaking a alternate reality into their time loop but we aren’t told about their reality. How is it that in their reality they all die but in the alternate reality only a few of them die? I wish that there was more explaining on that and that we got to see what their reality looked like instead of the alternate one. 2. What happened to them in the time loop? It didn’t show us much of an ending so we don’t know if they continued on in the loop or disappeared 3. In the end in shows a drawing on the main female MC and the MC’s child and it was presumably, drawn by the main male MC which begs the question, how is it possible for her to see his drawing when they are from different universes/realities and her father (the female MC’s childs) is alive and well and not stuck in that time loop? Conclusion: I think that there really is only one reality and that the factory workers died while some of the towns folk survived and lived on in the same reality but for whatever reason parts of their soul stayed behind. It doesn’t make much sense but the directors and writers of this really didn’t have much of an answer either so we are all grasping at straws to figure it out. I believe it’s similar to the movie: “miss Peregrine’s home for peculiar children” in the sense that maybe the event was too traumatic for them to handle so starts of them split up and continued to relive the “best” days OR the gods were grateful of their constant support and offerings so instead of letting them suffer a early death they froze time and gave them a chance to live their life as best they could while still staying in their current state/age.

I had high expectations for this movie and it’s safe to say that it disappointed me. Let’s start off with the acting, the main character Emily (I don’t know her real name) has played in a bunch of movies that I have watched and liked over the years of her acting career but this one seemed to have been her worst one yet. All of her facial expressions for the first 90% of the movie was the same. No matter if she was happy or sad she’d have the same look, it was only at the end that I saw a difference (for a split second) in her expression. Not to mention she looked stiff the whole movie and it felt like she couldn’t connect with the character. Next let’s talk about the style or plot of the movie, it’s similar to every early 2000s kid movie, even the music is the same. It’s saddening to think that not much has changed in the way animation/family/comedy movies are made. They use the same music, the same style of writing and the same drama. Girl is an outcast, finds something magic or unique, finds a friend within her group of classmates that doesn’t hate or ignore her, gets a lot of praise for it from the people who ignored or bullied her, made scientist or cops want what she has and chases after her and in the end she ends up proving that whatever that magic thing is that she’s finds is actually hers. It’s all the same, I understand that this movie was based off of the tv show but Sonic! The movie did better than this it didn’t feel cliche at all. Maybe it’s just me but I’d rather stick with the show than watch the movie.

Incredibly displeasing. Shít movie if you ask me, nothing like the original. I guess since this is a new generation they wanted to make a movie to please the new kids and those to come in the future but they should have never made a reboot of the original. And the fact that they used such unoriginal actors just makes me a little bit mad. I would have liked it better if they had decided to use new and upcoming actors trying to make a name for themselves instead of continuously picking the same actors over and over again. Wish people would see that the movie industry is getting know where if you can’t hire new actors.
