This really is a terrible movie. The only likeable character is Brad Stevenson, and he's just a small, meaningless character in this movie. Meredith is too desperate for acceptance, so the bullies that are a Sybil and Amy rip her to shreds every chance they get. Everett, Julie, Meredith, and Ben are disgusting for switching partners. That dinner scene is the most insufferable thing I've ever watched on all accounts. It's pretty bad when a movie ends with a death and I'm completely unmoved by it because the character that dies is so unlikable. A crappy excuse of a movie, let alone a Christmas movie.

It didn't really tell any kind of story. Thinks just happened for no apparent reason. I'll stick to Vincent, thanks.

I didn't care for this movie. It was kinda creepy the vibe Jareth (Bowie) was giving towards Sarah (Connelly). Very predatory, which is disgusting. Outside of that, it was just boring. None of the characters were incredibly memorable or likeable, the imagery was bland, and the storyline ridiculous. Fantasy/fairy tales can be done well, but this isn't it.

I didn't mind the general idea of the film (using hypnosis to gain control over someone) but in the end, the overtly obvious message that white people are evil, was very disappointing. I didn't feel that adding race to the storyline contributed any substance or value to the film, but rather, just made me feel that the filmmakers/screenwriters have some soul searching of their own to do. Slightly disappointed, probably wouldn't watch again.

Everything about this movie is disgusting. It's creepy, filthy, and grotesque. I can't fathom how anyone could actually enjoy watching this monstrosity. I didn't think it would ever end. It drags on for 2 1/2 hours! And all I got from it was how miserable, empty, and pathetic the lives of these industry people are.

Don't believe the "hype" you hear about this movie. It's trash. It's just not gripping at all. I liked the initial idea of the accident and amnesia, but it drug on way too long and for no reason whatsoever. I wanted to turn it off several times. I don't know how I managed to sit through the entire 2 and a half hours it takes to watch it, but I'd never do it again.

This movie left me feeling disturbed. I was expecting it to be a fantasy filled movie, with much more involvement of the labyrinth. It was so violent and cruel though. I felt unclean after having watched it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

For a movie titled Do The Right Thing, all I saw was everyone doing the wrong thing. When the only character with any actual sense of right and wrong is also the town drunk, that says a lot. The icing on the cake is the ending where it's all (looting, arson, violence) supposed to be okay because Sal has insurance. What message are you sending here, honestly?

I have been working my way down Parade's list of 100 Greatest Movies. Today I had the pleasure of watching Cinema Paradiso. It was a beautiful story from start to finish. I was moved by the wonderful friendship developed between Toto and Alfredo. It was also worth noting all the other relationships and chain of events that happened at the theater, which all comes full circle with the end of the movie. Truly a beautiful story and well with the watch. Highly recommend for anyone who is a lover of film.

I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone likes this horrible movie. First of all, it was about 40 minutes too long. It just dragged on and on and on. Secondly, I hated the cinematography. Everything was so jumbled up it was impossible to really take in any of the optics. It's a movie.... I want to be able to actually watch the story. And lastly, honestly it was just embarrassing listening to some of the singing. They completely butchered Roxanne, and it felt like a lot of the music didn't fit but was rather just crammed in for no reason at all. I think this is one of the worst films I've ever had to displeasure of watching. I would not recommend, nor would I ever waste another second watching it.
