I have read the book. The story is raw and complicated and depicts not only the life an addict, but the family left in the wake of the addiction and the behavior connected to it. I am nervous about seeing the movie because the book was so well done and we all know how Hollywood picks and chooses what parts of a true story to focus on. I am hoping I can keep that in mine when I do go see it. PSA: if you didn't like how Hollywood portrayed what addiction looked like for this family.....Go buy the book and read it. You won't be able to put it down and....you will want to put it down because it takes you on their journey and not everyone is cut out to travel that road.
