Do you remember how the original movie showed a lot of emotion in the main character and showed how anyone can accomplish anything by working hard?, and how Mulan NOT being a fighter made her sacrifice to save her father all the more meaningful because there was a gigantic chance that she might die? well, forget about that, because in this movie Mulan is actually "the chosen one"; there's no tension because we know that there's no possibility that she will die, and not because she is the main character, but because she is the most powerful being in the world because she has a lot of "chi" (yeah, that's the explanation) a story about "anyone can do whatever with hard work and effort" became an "I'm so badass, that I don't show emotion, development, or have any flaws, because I am the chosen one, therefore I can do whatever the hell I want without effort"
Terrible, lifeless performances, forgettable characters, lacking emotion. The worst remake of Disney along with the lion king
