I appreciate the effort that the cast and production team put into this movie but it's terrible in my opinion. The main reason why I don't like it is because of the message and how toxic Hardin and Tessa's relationship were and nobody's pointing it out, he is clearly emotionally manipulating Tessa throughout the movie. Young teenage girls will get the wrong impression of how a relationship works. A problem would also be the fact that Hardin and Tessa are both horrible people; Tessa practically cheated on her boyfriend with Hardin in the first movie, Hardin just downright sexualizes Tessa and took advantage of her when she was drunk. The only likeable characters in the sequel are the few side characters like Trevor. I do get why teenage girls are crazing over this movie because of the romanticism of the relationship and the sex scenes in this.
