If you liked Bridget Jones you’ll probably like Judy. It was painful to watch Renee Zellweger together with Bridget Jones facial mannerisms trying to capture and play the part of the iconic Judy Garland. This was such a superficial portrayal of an amazing Hollywood star. Disappointing screenplay. Some touching scenes with the gay couple but overall worthy of a slot on BBC 1 on a Sunday night.
