I watch this every few months, I can really identify with the characters in this movie, the story is played out like a surrealist nightmare, it’s a kinda love conquers all kinda thing? Jim Carry and Kate Winslet are perfectly cast as the oddball couple who are awkwardly wrong, but ultimately so right for each other, it’s strange, funny and sad all mixed up into a whole… get the popcorn out! Ps, the soundtrack is great too!

This is a terrific movie, Maggie Smith never disappoints, she was a national treasure and this is a great way to remember just what a brilliant talent she was. The rest of the cast are excellent. The movie is funny, moving and very heartwarming. Pity they only allow five stars!

Excellent Movie, genuinely scary and a good story.

Quite a hard watch, but it's stirring stuff, the acting is flawless, you can see the desperation in their eyes. The dystopian landscape is amazing, with the muted colours it makes it a powerful piece.
