Letโs be honestโthis movie is a mess. The story is incoherent, the direction all over the place, and the tone borders on laughable. Itโs hard to believe this ever got past a first draft.
And yet, I watched it to the end. Why? Because amid all the chaos, one thing genuinely stood out: Lilly Krug.
Yes, sheโs still growing as an actress. Her performance lacks nuance in places, and she clearly needs more experience to fully carry a role like this. But her screen presence is undeniable. That face, that composureโthereโs something arresting about her, something you canโt look away from.
In a better film, with stronger direction and a sharper script, I could see her really shining. Thereโs potential hereโraw, maybe, but very real.
So no, this isnโt a good movie. But Lilly Krug gave it the only spark of life it had. And for that, Iโm actually curious to see where she goes next.
