Alley Cat

Two sociopaths walk into a bar - is probably how the screenplay started for this disturbingly dark sitcom about two extremely unlikable people continually abusing and denigrating a cohort of inexplicably empathetic characters. As someone who has been in an abusive relationship, watching these characters trash, mock, and humiliate their loved ones was not only distasteful but also very triggering. Maybe I just didn't get the humor, maybe I took it too seriously? But now every time I think of it or even see it on Apple +, I have to shudder away tendrils of PTSD.
