The show is based on vampire the Masquerade role playing game.
Some of the clans are depicted, but not all. I think the show should have added more clans (malkavian, for example, are found in many Camarilla cities).
The show also could have added the Sabbat sect as additional adversaries.
But over all it was good, as it hopefully got folks interested in playing Vampire the Masquerade.
