I found this series by accident and I love it, each episode has at least one LOL moment I watch it while out and about and more than once had to switch it off because I was laughing too loud in public

I’m late finding this series it’s so good I binged watched the first season

Started off good but dragged and dragged it could have been one season the pace would have been better. I’m in season 3 episode 1 and I don’t think I can be bothered to finish it. All of the scenes are dragged out not needed, the surgery scene with Peter heading towards’the white light’ was the last straw.

Had I known it was a Tyler Perry movie I would’ve have bothered, he cannot make a good movie. That said I watched it and it was basic but ok. Not a movie I would pay a cinema ticket for, but ok for a Netflix movie. I will try to find a documentary on this story to get a non Hollywood version of the truth as it’s an interesting story.

No way is it as funny as Motherland, Motherland actually made me LOL in every episode. I watched the first episode of this in silence, it wasn’t even amusing really. The only funny character is Joanna Lumley. The best characters from Motherland are not in this so disappointing. I am hopeful it will get better over time so giving it a generous 2 stars.

Season 2 finale had me in tears and I never cry at shows (well hardly ever). The notion that we have paths in life that we choose with drastic end results really hit home, and the way it was written and directed was really impactful for me. I also enjoyed the series as a whole and I hope we get another season

I love a murder mystery so this was right up my street. I enjoyed it and binged watched it over one weekend. Hope they make another series.

I have tried to love season 3 as I loved the other seasons and also Queen Charlotte but I am find it a struggle, the fact I’m scrolling through TikTok while watching tells me it’s just not engaging me at all. The story is slow, the s@x scenes are too graphic. I think the formula may of had its day. I will force myself to watch the rest.

I thought it was good, kept me interested to the end and had enough twists to make it a good watch.

Terrible, poor acting and boring plot. Reminded me of a school play it was that bad. All of the ‘funny’ bits where in the trailer. I wanted to go to support black productions, I understand they were trying to do a parody but it was just plain boring unfortunately.
