I was so excited for this, and wow what a disappointment. This is all over the place. I wanted to know about Ed Gein.. I feel like bringing the Nazi comics to life, and bringing in Anthony Perkins / Alfred Hitchcock was just unnecessary and weird. It just jumps all over the place and makes no sense. Theres so much little to be known about Ed Gein and I was curious how this was even going to be an 8 part series . I genuinely feel like Ryan Murphy incorporated his own sexual fetishes and fantasies into these series. Starting with Dahmer, then he did the Menendez brothers and now Ed Gein and it all feels overly sexual. Intentionally casting good looking actors to play these people is weird. The menendez brothers was one thing, but Ed Gein and Dahmer? I recognize that these serial killers had a sexual element to their crimes , but I just feel like this is some sick fan fiction. What a let down. Didn’t finish the Menendez series, and won’t be finishing this garbage either I also find it interesting that some of these reviews are word for word exactly the same, from brand new accounts. Need bots to give you 5 stars? Ouch.
