office desk one morning about twenty-two years ago, with a note that said: “You must read this now. You will identify…”.
For me, this reads as a memoir by a cross between “The Fox”
of the latter 1960s environmental
movement and the principal organizer of The Monkey Wrench Gang, and the very real anguish and frustrations of a state coastal manager over the past few decades. Everything in it is spot on.
