Wild the clear review bombing going on by a clearly stupid and delusional crowd who have not only never played this game but also haven’t played literally any other BioWare game.. complaining about “non binary characters and DEI” when mass effect had an entire race of exclusively female aliens that reproduced with not only one another but also other species regardless of gender. Veilguard is fun and the story is engaging enough. Not the best writing in the series but much better than other games out there that have garnered more support. The combat is quick and snappy and a lot of fun. It can be a little repetitive but compared to inquisition it’s miles better. The companions are fun and their quests open up them up for more development and include more lore and depth. If you absolutely hate “non-binary” then just don’t use taash or do their quests (which is stupid because they’re a great character and good to have in battle) Enemy variety is very lacking however and can get tiresome fast. Enemies can also be very spongy depending on your difficulty settings, however you can customize your settings to accommodate your play style. This game has gotten a bad rep from the unwashed basement dwelling sad losers. It’s really pathetic to see how toxic the gaming community is but it’s not surprising at all. I’d give the game a solid 8/10
