I'd like to preface this by saying I'm as white as they come. As a minority myself though, it's easy for me to see that the show did an incredible job at showing all the challenges that an oppressed community will face. Especially what happens when members of that same community don't agree on what actions to take when faced with hate and ignorance. It's complicated and nuanced. It reflects real life perfectly.
I've had to google a few things here and there, but the show has gifted me with me unexpected nuggets of wisdom and knowledge and I greatly appreciate it.
There was obviously a lot of love and work poured into this project, and everyone who worked on it did a phenomenal job.
Also, absolutely loved Giancarlo Esposito for the narration, excellent casting overall!
And for the people offended by the title: check your priviledge. If you're offended by that, you completely missed the point of this show.
