I’ve never written a review for a TV show, but this one was so bad I need to get it off my chest. The series is incredibly heavy and intense, which would have been fine if the ending hadn't been a total disaster. What even was that? It felt like the writers just threw something together last minute, and it made absolutely no sense. *SPOILER ALERT* Are we really supposed to believe that the same guy who raped her for hours and threatened her and her son just the night before would suddenly risk his life to save her child? And those photos she was forced to take at knifepoint somehow look believable, with no signs of distress or tears? Come on. And the whole time her life was spiraling, she couldn't push harder to tell someone she was raped? After sitting through such a dark and heavy story, the ending felt like a slap in the face..completely unrealistic and amateurish. All that buildup, and for what? Absolute garbage writing.
