What a fantastic movie! Like others have said, it's definitely not for everyone. However it's perfect for those that enjoy gothic themes and the the broad history of vampire films. It's a unique but familiar interpretation of many other films with themes similar to Bram Stoker's Dracula featuring Gary Oldman. Robert Eggers did an amazing job building suspense in all the right places and invoking true fear. Bill Skarsgard created a truly horrifying character with one of the greatest vocal performances I've ever seen. I'll definitely be headed back to the theaters to watch again!
