My wife and I watched the first episode of Malpractice and found the events portrayed ludicrous. We ended the episode concluding that the lead doctor should not have been allowed to practise after finishing medical school and that her subalterns were equally useless. Knowing both hospital doctors and GPs, the reality is different and the rubbish written and preformed in Malpractice can only portray the UK medical profession in bad light in the eyes of the public. We tried the second episode but gave up after an unrealistic awards dinner, part way through. In our view Avoid.

I have watched this series twice on i Player - it is that good. I for one would love a second series if the writers could construct one. Sneaky beakies a memorable expression. Gerry a marvellous character so well played. FabUlous. PS Just learned that there will be a second series; filming starts this summer. Good.
