This is easily my favourite film of all time. I’m a dinosaur lover and just about know every species discovered. The movie is perfect in every way. The outstanding animatronics and CGI bring these dinosaurs to life, in more ways than we ever imagined. The plot is a rich billionaire named John Hammond manages to create living dinosaurs from extracting mosquitos from amber and getting the Dino DNA. After a park worker gets eaten by a velociraptor, Hammond takes Dr Alan grant and Dr Ellie Satler to the island to inspect the park he built an make sure it is safe so he can open it next year. Hammonds nephews lex and Tim are visiting and so is Dr Ian Malcolm and a lawyer. They are amazed at the dinosaurs, but when Denis Nedri tried to steal DNA, he turn the power off, so all the dinosaurs could break out and cause havoc. It is the perfect definition of blockbuster and Dino fan or not, there is something in for you. The plot is great, the characters all learn at the end that dinosaurs in a theme park is a bad idea.

I liked this movie though not as much as JW. I liked that there were more animatronic dinosaurs and I really like the dark horror element that Bayona went for. The first scene grips you and throws you right back into the franchise, with them trying to get an Indominus bone for extraction. In the second part, I love how the indoraptor moves around the dark corridors and rooms, and the lighting is perfect in that sequence. Although the twist with Maisie being a clone didn’t really hold up with many of the fans,I found it quite interesting and raises a lot of questions that the 3 rd instalment should answer. Although I have some problems with the plot as I will explain later, I love the ending and set us up for an epic 3rd instalment. I also have a lot of problems with it too, mainly the plot. It kinda felt like lost world just with more action, and less time on the island. There are some plot holes like why didn’t the team of Mercs and the DPG go before the volcano exploded. Surely geologists would have had a good idea of when it erupted or everyone in this universe is extremely unlucky. Also when they drove the vehicle onto the ship, surely the mercs would have seen and captured them. It would have worked better if they snuck on the ship instead. There are more that kinda get on my nerves. Overall this was a kinda good movie, way better than JP3 but worse than JW and the lost world. The creepiness and the ending was the best part, big some plot points drag it down though, but it does promise a lot of the 3 rd movie

I love this movie. It is better than lost world and of course Jurassic Park three. What if they did actually create a functioning theme park with dinosaurs? It’s an idea that has been explored in Jurassic Park and has ultimately decided that is a bad idea. But when Ingen get bought by Masrani global Hammonds dream comes true. But this is a mistake just waiting to happen. 2 boys visit the park and there very stereotypical. There aunt Claire works there and thinks that no one is impressed by a dinosaur. I mean it sounds absurd to us but in the real world phones aren’t that impressive and they were seen as really impressive like 100 years ago. She only cares about the money and views the dinosaurs is assets rather than living things. This is one of the main problems with her character and it leads to them creating a physical monster, representing humans appetite for monsters. It is a great idea that I highly appreciate them doing to make it not the same movie as Jurassic Park. Some didn’t really like the movie because of the lack of creativity but I think it is more creative than the lost world and JP3 combined. The Dino scenes are epic and I like what they did with the raptors. There trainer is Owen who is a badass as they keep telling us. He has relationships with the animals and regards them as animals not assets. There is character development for Claire as she witnesses are dying apatosaurus and a true realisation comes to her, these are living animals. This is particular in fallen kingdom, as she is the opposite of who she once was. Some people say this movie relies too heavily on the first Jurassic Park but I think it does it in a clever way and reminders of how great that movie is and simply pays tribute to it. Overall I think this is a great movie that knows its audience and has some generally really good new ideas that I’d love to see more of in the future. Thank you JW

I like the lost world. It is extremely underrated, and has a totally different set up to Jurassic park. This time, 2 groups of people get stuck on site b, an abandoned island ruled my dinosaurs. You don’t know what’s coming. That’s the beauty of it. Malcolm returns with his kinda annoying daughter, and his girlfriend Sarah Harding and Eddie Carr and nick van Owen. Everyone apart from the kid are great characters. On the other side you’ve got peter Ludlow, Hammonds slimy nephew and some mercs, who are mostly Dino food, and Roland tembo, an excellent character who’s a game hunter, who wants to take down a male tyrannosaurus. But when he does he is kinda sad mainly coz of Ajays death and also the thrill of the challenge is sometimes greater than the reward. This movie does have some problems though: Malcolms daughter using convienetly located bars the gymnast kick the raptor. It is very absurd. There is a giant plot hole that sticks out like a sore thumb. When the boat is coming too fast and It’s going to crash into the dock, they Go inside is that where the crew is and find them dead even know the T rex was in a separate cargo hold and the baby was on the plane. It really annoys me and it leads to an unecessary part of the T rex runs around San Diego. It’s cool but it’s kinda Unnecessary. Ludlow gets eaten and the TREX and the other dinos Live happily ever after on Site b. Overall a good film apart from The ending. That could have been better.

Jurassic Park three is probably the worst in the franchise. It isn’t a bad movie it just doesn’t feel quite like a Jurassic movie. Grant returns but is the only character that has depth and is a good character. The rest of the characters are just annoying or pointless Dino food. There is just chasing after chasing after chase scene and then it’s a fight and then more chasing. The sequence at the end is fantastic,But is ruined by cuts of Charlie a kid watching Barney the dinosaur it really ruins it. I dunno the plots basic characters are annoying and just a really mediocre movie. I do you like the spinosaurus though as it gives us more insight into what illegal activity Ingen has been doing on site b. The spinosaurus is an experiment gone wrong, leading it to be savage and wreck less and to even defeat the series mascot. That’s the only really good thing about the movie.

The emoji movie is one of the laziest excuses for a film for children I’ve ever seen. It has a lazy, boring and predictable plot held together by advertisements. This movie is an ad. It literally is. The whole premise is to try and get the viewers to get apps that they go to on the phone. People to literally paying money to watch an 80 minute long ad. It is really that bad. The plot is simple; an emoji called gene who’s supposed to be a meh struggles to be a meh and he wants reprogramming by a hacker called jailbreak. He meets HI 5 and they go through apps before the main character Alex restarts his phone. I really don’t like the characters. Their really boring and cliche and as much depth as a puddle in the desert. Gene is just the odd one out, jailbreaks a cool feminist (this has feminist messages) and hi 5 is a fat annoying nuisance who serves no purpose to the plot. The messages and intentions are good; they execute it poorly though, using sneaky advertisement in the process. The script is so lazy and it shows. It was like they wrote this in an afternoon or something like that. This was a poor idea to begin with. Even the most talented of directors and producers couldn’t even pull this off to be a good movie. It is such a bad idea. Why not use your good messages into a good idea? You’ve got to be very intelligent to understand the jokes that pan out the emoji movie. They are very wry. The jokes are not funny and I hardly heard anyone laughing in the cinema. It was just silent. It was like they weren’t sure what humour they were going for. The animation was superb and every set piece was done well. It is a shame that animators worked their butts off creating this horrible ad. ( it’s not a movie) The morals were good, to be yourself and women have limitless potential. Other movies did this so much better though, and the emoji movie falls flat on its face in just about everything. 86 minutes I will never get back. Never. 😭😭
