Dany Horovitz

I’ve been listening to the audio books. They are charming, funny, the world building is great; and especially the patience to reveal the larger universe over multiple books. A lot of series spoil all their secrets early on and leave no room for growth, not so here. Plus the cast of main and supporting characters are engaging. It helps that narrator Jeff Hays is extraordinary. I’ve listen to many audio books where bad narration ruins things, and some where good narration saves things. This is an excellent combination of writing I’d enjoy if I were reading it, and narration that elevates the story when listening.
