Spoiler alert. Read this review after you've watched the movie. Here's what mystifies me about The Wicker Man. The police officer has enough game to break into the photographers and find out what the motive is for all the drama. Yet when he realizes the islanders are going to kill him, why doesn't he just say "I shagged a girl at church camp! She was on her period! I'm not worthy!" Now that would have been wise like a serpent and gentle like a dove. Jus' sayin'...
