It was amazing! It was true enough to the book that an old Herbert fan like me was satisfied, yet had some differences that were enough to keep me interested. I wasn't expecting a word for word rendition of the novels, but a film that sticks to the spirit of the novels. Denis Villeneuve has a winner on his hands. I can't wait until we see his adaptation of God Emperor of Dune! Give us more of this luxurious filmmaking & I'll keep watching!
